We’re looking for a driven engineer to join our manufacturing team under the Director of Manufacturing Engineering. In this role, you’ll refine our production workflows, roll out technical updates, and elevate safety, quality, and on-time delivery within a certified quality system.
Manufacturing Engineer Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related) from a recognized institution
- 5+ years driving improvements in a high-volume production environment (automotive background a MUST)
- Proficient with PLM software, technical drawings, and standard office applications
- Demonstrated expertise in SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and root-cause problem solving
- Collaborative communicator who thrives in team settings and tackles challenges head-on
Manufacturing Engineer Role Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to shop-floor teams: develop tooling specs, standard work instructions, and cost-benefit analyses
- Review and coordinate engineering change requests in the PLM platform for smooth, low-disruption rollouts
- Build financial justifications and draft AFEs to secure funding for process improvements
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using statistical process control, failure mode analysis, control plans, and root-cause investigations
- Capture and report process performance data, maintaining records in line with quality management standards
