We’re hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to lead accounts payable operations for our Davenport, IA location. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll be responsible for accurate invoice processing, vendor payment workflows, and compliance with company policies. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable functions, including vendor invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor communications.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Reconcile vendor statements, expense reports, and related financial accounts.
- Prepare accounts payable reports, process 1099 forms, and maintain an up-to-date vendor database.
Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems (such as Karmak, CDK, or similar platforms).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial data.
