A prominent bicycle retailer is looking for a skilled Service Manager to oversee the operations of its Service Department. In this role, you’ll manage the service workflow, handle repairs, schedule appointments, and deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll also work to integrate sales and service, train staff, and ensure the department runs smoothly with a high-performance team. Service Manager Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Flexible schedule availability, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Lead Technician or Service Manager in a bike shop (preferred)
- Oversee the service workflow, ensuring timely and high-quality repairs
- Act as the lead service advisor, assisting customers and providing solutions
- Train and mentor service team members to improve their technical skills and performance
- Manage the service department’s financials, including budgets and revenue targets
