We are seeking a dedicated Technical Service Representative to be the voice of expertise for our customers, providing answers regarding the installation, service, and maintenance of restaurant equipment. In this pivotal role, you will not only answer technical questions but also process warranty claims, report technical issues, and manage the disposal of returned parts. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining comprehensive troubleshooting guides, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical and parts inquiries from customers and field service personnel via calls, emails, SMS, and chat.
- Help with processing warranty service claims and returns of parts.
- Direct technical and parts issues to the appropriate departments to enhance customer satisfaction when identifying trends in product defects.
- Develop and enhance quality manuals and troubleshooting guides for customers and field service technicians.
- Keep up to date with our equipment to ensure we provide excellent customer service..
- Process parts orders and return authorizations for customers and parts distributors.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates knowledge of operating computer systems such as AX and phone systems on a consistent basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Computer Skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration or HVAC process
- The person must be organized and possess strong follow-up skills.
- Possessing exceptional customer service skills is absolutely vital.
