Director of Banquets Responsibilities:
- Ensure exceptional quality of food, beverages, and service in banquet areas
- Maintain effective communication within and between departments
- Lead and coordinate activities of assigned personnel, including training standards
- Collaborate with other hotel departments
- Manage labor, costs, and expenses within budgetary guidelines
Director of Banquets Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in banquet leadership, ideally in a director role
- High school diploma required; a 4-year degree in hospitality preferred
- Proficiency with food and beverage financial systems
- Flexibility to work various schedules
- Strong intuition to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
