Do you work to work in a well established club setting with a great team? If you answered yes, apply now! The ideal candidate will have some golf club or country club or private club experience. We offer a salary of $85,000 with a good benefit package. We are also closed 4 weeks a year and you are paid during this time!
Controller Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing financial statements and budgets
- Responsible for working closely with management to guide them in making strategic business decisions
- Responsible for payroll
- Responsible for overseeing banking and insurance relationships
- Annually work with third party auditors on tax returns and annual reporting
- Supervise and train direct reports
- Work hand in hand with the General Manager and Board
Controller Qualifications:
- At least 5 years as a Controller
- Strong financial acumen
- Club Essential software preferred or similar private club centric programs like Jonas.
- Self starter and detail oriented
- Payroll expertise
- Experience working in a golf club, country club setting is preferred
