Join a leading North American automobile manufacturer committed to safety, quality, and cleaner energy solutions. We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes and support engineering changes across our assembly operations.
Manufacturing Engineer – Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for production lines (tooling, work instructions, material flow, and labor standards).
- Review design changes in the PLM system, assess manufacturing impacts, and coordinate smooth implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement using SPC, basic PFMEA, control plans, and structured root-cause analysis.
- Prepare concise business cases and assist with capital-funding requests (AFEs) for new equipment or tooling.
- Create and maintain ISO 9000–compliant documentation to satisfy internal and external audit requirements.
Manufacturing Engineer – Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3 + years of manufacturing or industrial-engineering experience (automotive or vehicle assembly required).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand chassis/body assembly principles.
- Strong project-planning, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with MS Project.
