We’re looking for an experienced and driven P.E. Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our highly skilled, collaborative team. Our engineers play a key role in supporting the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission systems, as well as stormwater, roadway, and site development projects.
P.E. Civil Engineer Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects from proposal preparation to construction closeout, managing both client and team interactions throughout the process
- Lead technical evaluation and design efforts focused on stormwater management, site design, and water/wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission systems
- Apply engineering principles and technical expertise in all aspects of project work
- Prepare and review engineering design reports, plans, and specifications
- Handle permitting applications, coordination, calculations, and other engineering analyses to produce construction drawings and comprehensive engineering reports
- Conduct periodic site visits to observe construction progress and ensure quality
- Mentor junior engineers and assist with their development
- Contribute to proposal preparation and maintain coordination with clients, public agencies, consultants, contractors, and vendors
P.E. Civil Engineer Project Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- FL Professional Engineering license required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office programs
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion within the allocated budget
