Preferred Background & Skills
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil projects, including DOT, municipal, and commercial work.
- Manage awarded projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Administer contracts, submittals, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize takeoff software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) to complete daily work tasks.
- Maintain current knowledge of INDOT and KYTC specifications, as well as evolving industry trends.
Requirments & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in estimating and project management in civil concrete, paving, or grading projects.
- Strong understanding of INDOT specifications; KYTC experience preferred.
- Proficiency with digitizing takeoff software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred (not required, but with strong experience).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain a self-motivated work ethic.

- Competitive base salary ($110,000 – $130,000)
