We are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established industry leader in the machine and equipment manufacturing sector. Qualified candidates will use their design and team leadership skills to support key engineering projects to completion.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Benefits:

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Supervises overall development of mechanical designs to be created promptly that meet specifications, function, and budgetary requirements (including time/materials estimations)
- Leads detailing of component parts and confirms the accuracy of all project details to ensure that team members have the necessary information to produce components
- Ensures all required project documentation is completed and accurately reported
- Stays in contact with the customer through entire project completion
- Ensures that the necessary level of support/communication is provided to assembly technicians
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or greater) in a relevant field
- 6+ years’ experience in machine and machine tool design (including supervisory experience), as well as PLC, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
- Competency in modeling software (i.e., SolidWorks & AutoCAD), Microsoft Windows, and Excel
- Strong verbal/written communications ability and documentation/organizing skills, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and mathematical/analytical proficiency
- Able to effectively interact with other functional teams (i.e., Sales, Purch., Mfg., etc.)
