Golf Course Assistant Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Step in and lead when the Superintendent is unavailable
- Ability to perform all duties in golf course maintenance
- Able to coach, delicate and lead a team
- Update and track maintenance activities
- Hungry to stay up to date with the latest golf course maintenance technologies and best practices
- Supervise the mowing, watering, and maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, and related areas
Golf Course Assistant Superintendent Requirments:
- Bent Grass experience
- NC State Pesticide license or ability to obtain one within the first 90s days of employment.
- 2-4 year turf grass degree or related experience.
- Familiar with Keeping MSDS sheets up to date.
- A friendly, supportive management style, while upholding accountability.
