Trailer Technician / Trailer Mechanic
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour | Full-Time
Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? Do you have experience repairing, maintaining, or troubleshooting trailers? We're looking for a dependable Trailer Technician to join our maintenance team!
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in trailer repair, diesel mechanics, automotive repair, or general mechanical maintenance who wants steady work and the opportunity to put their skills to use.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial trailers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Repair and replace trailer components, including brakes, lights, wiring, tires, suspension, and air systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe and road-ready.
- Identify equipment issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Complete maintenance documentation and communicate repair needs.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, Trailer Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or Automotive Technician is preferred.
- Knowledge of trailer brakes, electrical systems, suspension, tires, and general mechanical repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Own basic hand tools or willingness to acquire tools as needed.
- Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a hands-on maintenance environment.
Compensation & Opportunity
- Pay up to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
