Join our team as a Low Voltage Systems Sales Executive and take ownership of business development, strategic account growth, and commercial technology solutions throughout Southern California. You'll work directly with developers, general contractors, property managers, and ownership groups to identify opportunities, develop integrated low voltage solutions, and manage projects through the entire sales cycle.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced technical sales professional with a background in commercial low voltage, electronic security, structured cabling, or integrated building technologies. You'll join an established systems integration company with more than 25 years of industry experience, a diverse portfolio of commercial technology solutions, and the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships in the growing multifamily construction market.
Low Voltage Systems Sales Executive | What You Will Do
- Develop new business relationships with commercial and multifamily developers, general contractors, property management companies, REITs, and building ownership groups.
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposals, negotiations, and contract closing.
- Sell integrated low voltage systems, including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, structured cabling, telecommunications, intrusion detection, intercom, and audiovisual solutions.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through direct outreach, networking, referrals, bid opportunities, and existing industry relationships.
- Work with customers to understand project specifications, technical requirements, construction schedules, and budgets.
- Partner with engineering and estimating teams to develop system designs, technical specifications, proposals, and accurate project pricing.
- Participate in commercial construction bidding, RFP/RFQ processes, and preconstruction meetings.
- Negotiate pricing, project scope, and contract terms while maintaining profitability objectives.
- Coordinate project handoffs to operations and installation teams, ensuring customer expectations and technical requirements are clearly communicated.
- Expand existing customer relationships through system upgrades, retrofits, service contracts, and additional technology solutions.
- Stay current on emerging low voltage technologies, smart building systems, and commercial construction market opportunities.
Low Voltage Systems Sales Executive | What You Bring
- Proven experience in technical, consultative B2B sales, preferably involving commercial low voltage, electronic security, structured cabling, or integrated building systems.
- Working knowledge of access control, CCTV/video surveillance, telecommunications, intrusion systems, audiovisual, or related low voltage technologies.
- Experience developing new business relationships and managing complex sales opportunities from initial prospecting through closing.
- Familiarity with commercial construction processes, including proposals, bidding, project specifications, contractor coordination, and construction schedules.
- Ability to develop relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and commercial decision-makers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical, engineering, estimating, and operations teams to develop effective customer solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines, maintain customer relationships, and achieve revenue objectives.
- Experience selling into multifamily construction, including apartment communities, mid-rise, or high-rise developments, is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer meetings and project sites throughout Southern California.
- Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA.
