We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing organization supporting a portfolio of hotel properties and related businesses. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, managing multiple entities, and contributing to a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end close and financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Manage intercompany transactions, billing, and allocations.
- Assist with fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in hotels.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Experience with financial reconciliations and reporting.
- Hospitality, real estate, or multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with MRI or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills.
