Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Proven experience leading high-caliber, upscale restaurant service.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality standards, food, beverage, and service protocols.
- Experience with wine sales and beverage service.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and anticipate guest and operational needs.
- Proficiency with POS and reservation systems, including managing the floor as a Maitre D.
- Applicable food protection certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team while maintaining accountability and a positive work environment.
- Oversee daily service, floor plans, staffing, and opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences, resolve concerns, and build relationships with regular guests.
- Reinforce food, wine, beverage, and service knowledge through pre-shift meetings and ongoing training.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and consistent hospitality standards.
