Restaurant Manager – General Manager Development Track
$75,000–$85,000 Base Salary + Bonus | Charlotte Market
We are hiring two experienced restaurant leaders for a growing upscale casual restaurant group in the Charlotte market.
These positions are designed for strong Restaurant Managers or Assistant General Managers who are ready to take on greater responsibility and develop toward a General Manager opportunity as the company continues to grow.
We are looking for proven leaders from upscale casual, polished casual, steakhouse, or comparable high-volume full-service restaurants—not someone looking for their first management opportunity.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience
- Current or recent upscale or polished casual full-service experience
- Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, Senior Manager, or similar leadership background
- Experience in restaurants generating approximately $3M+ in annual sales
- Strong employment stability and demonstrated career progression
- Proven success training and developing employees and managers
- Experience with labor management, scheduling, guest recovery, and restaurant financials
- Comfortable supporting both FOH and BOH operations
- Professional, hands-on leadership style
- Desire and ability to develop into a General Manager
Candidates coming primarily from fast food, quick service, fast casual, or lower-volume casual concepts will generally not align with this opportunity.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations
- Coach and develop FOH and BOH team members
- Remain highly visible on the floor during service
- Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and labor management
- Handle guest recovery and operational challenges
- Partner closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef
- Help drive service standards, accountability, and team culture
- Build the leadership skills needed to advance into a GM role
