About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Regional Director of Field Operations to oversee field crews and project execution across Tampa and Jacksonville. This is a working leadership position for someone who can coordinate operations across both markets while actively working alongside crews when on site.
The ideal candidate brings strong construction field experience, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead teams safely and efficiently. Tampa is the preferred home base, with weekly travel determined by project needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support field crews in Tampa and Jacksonville, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and scheduling expectations.
- Work alongside crews on site, providing hands-on support, technical guidance, and leadership.
- Coordinate crew assignments, project schedules, equipment, and materials across both markets.
- Partner with company leadership to establish priorities and communicate project progress, staffing needs, and field challenges.
- Monitor productivity and workmanship, resolving issues promptly to keep projects moving.
- Train and coach crew members, reinforcing accountability, teamwork, and safe work practices.
- Ensure trucks, tools, and equipment are maintained and ready for use.
- Travel weekly between markets and project sites as schedules require.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading construction or installation crews as a foreman, superintendent, field operations manager, or similar leader.
- Ability to oversee multiple crews and projects across separate markets.
- Strong hands-on construction skills and willingness to participate in daily fieldwork.
- Experience with structural steel, billboard installation, or related outdoor construction preferred.
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to job-site safety and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly, CDL Preferred
- Tampa-based or willing to relocate to the area preferred.
- OSHA 30 and Welding certification required
Compensation
- $100,000 annual base salary.
- Bonus potential of up to $30,000.
- Company truck provided for project-related travel.
- Opportunity to lead field operations across two key Florida markets.
