We are seeking an accomplished hotel sales leader to oversee the resort’s group sales strategy and drive continued revenue growth. This individual will lead and develop the Group Sales team while remaining actively involved in key accounts, new business development, and important market segments. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with a hands-on approach to sales and will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to maximize group business, market share, and overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute group sales strategies, market plans, budgets, and revenue goals designed to increase business and market share
- Manage key accounts and group market segments while continuously identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities
- Lead the Group Sales team through daily sales activities, goal setting, coaching, performance management, and professional development
- Evaluate forecasts, competitive activity, market trends, and revenue performance and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Generate new business through client visits, sales calls, entertainment, sales blitzes, FAM trips, industry events, market travel, and sales missions
- Maintain oversight of CRM activity, sales reporting, forecasting, account management, and administrative standards
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing group sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and the local community
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to maximize group revenue and profitability
- Represent the resort professionally while maintaining a high standard of client and guest service
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive hotel or resort group sales experience
- Demonstrated success generating group revenue within a high-volume hotel/resort environment
- Strong leadership, sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing a sales team
- Strong knowledge of group sales strategy, revenue management, forecasting, budgeting, and market positioning
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Sales, or a related discipline preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel and maintain a flexible schedule based on business and client needs
