We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, multi-level restaurant and entertainment venue in Nashville. This is a hands-on leadership role for an accomplished operator who can balance exceptional hospitality, financial performance, team development, and the demands of a fast-paced food, beverage, and entertainment environment.
The ideal candidate is a highly visible, adaptable leader who develops strong teams, maintains high standards, and remains composed and decisive during peak-volume operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant and bar operations with a strong presence during peak business periods.
- Drive service excellence, guest satisfaction, and consistent operating standards.
- Recruit, train, develop, and hold managers and team members accountable for performance.
- Manage the P&L, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, operating expenses, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
- Analyze operating results and implement changes that improve performance.
- Maintain high standards across food, beverage, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and facility presentation.
- Oversee inventory controls, purchasing, vendor relationships, and cost-management practices.
- Partner effectively with culinary, events, entertainment, nightlife, security, and other venue leaders.
- Support private events, live entertainment, promotions, and other revenue-generating activity.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, workplace safety, and applicable regulations.
- Build an accountable, high-performing culture and develop leadership talent for continued growth.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of high-volume restaurant and hospitality experience.
- Proven General Manager-level leadership in a significant restaurant operation.
- Recent experience leading a restaurant generating at least $5M in annual sales.
- Strong food, beverage, and bar operational experience.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial acumen.
- Proven success developing managers and building high-performing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure operating environment.
- Strong communication, judgment, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Adaptable, collaborative leadership style with the ability to navigate changing business needs.
- Experience with high-volume bars, live entertainment, nightlife, private events, or other complex hospitality environments strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Food safety and responsible alcohol-service certification.
