Restaurant Area Manager – Growing Casual Dining Group
Salary: $110,000–$130,000 + Bonus
A rapidly growing casual dining restaurant group is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple locations and develop strong restaurant leadership teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on multi-unit operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with an expanding organization.
Area Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee operations and performance across multiple restaurant locations
- Coach, develop, and mentor General Managers and restaurant leadership teams
- Drive sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence
- Manage labor, food costs, budgets, and overall P&L performance
- Ensure consistency in food quality, service, cleanliness, and company standards
- Partner with restaurant leaders on staffing, training, retention, and succession planning
- Analyze restaurant performance and implement strategies to improve results
- Support new restaurant openings and continued market growth
- Build a positive, accountable culture focused on hospitality and team development
Area Manager Requirements
- Proven multi-unit restaurant management experience
- Strong background in casual dining or full-service restaurant operations
- Demonstrated success developing General Managers and high-performing teams
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgets, labor, and cost controls
- Ability to identify opportunities and drive sales and profitability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on both employees and guests
- Ability to travel between assigned restaurant locations as needed
Compensation & Benefits
