Banquet and Events Director Responsibilities:
- Lead banquet, catering, conference, and special event operations across multiple luxury venues
- Develop and coach high-performing leaders while fostering a culture of service, accountability, and excellence
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, labor planning, and financial performance
- Partner with Sales, Conference Services, Culinary, Marketing, and key stakeholders to execute exceptional events
- Ensure consistent luxury service standards while overseeing large-scale events, VIP functions, and operational excellence
- Drive innovation, operational improvements, and revenue growth through strategic planning and programming
Banquet and Events Director Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive banquet or event operations leadership experience, including multi-venue management
- Proven success leading large teams, developing leaders, and building a high-performance culture
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, and profitability
- Experience delivering luxury hospitality service in a Four Diamond, Four Star, or comparable environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require
