A rapidly growing AI legal technology company is hiring an Account Executive to join its founding sales team. The company has built an AI-native discovery platform that helps attorneys rapidly analyze large, complex collections of documents, images, audio, video, and other digital evidence.
This is not a traditional AE role where you inherit a mature playbook. You’ll work directly with company leadership, own opportunities from first conversation through close, and help shape the messaging, process, and sales motion as the company scales. The platform already has meaningful market traction and is used by law firms ranging from solo practitioners to large litigation teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle from qualification and discovery through product demo, negotiation, and close.
- Respond quickly to inbound leads, referrals, and conference-generated opportunities.
- Run compelling, consultative product demonstrations for attorneys, firm leaders, paralegals, and administrators.
- Build additional pipeline through thoughtful outbound prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, and event follow-up.
- Attend legal and legal-tech conferences, represent the brand, run demonstrations, and convert conversations into pipeline.
- Become a product expert capable of tailoring the sales conversation to different practice areas, firm sizes, and customer needs.
- Maintain disciplined CRM activity, forecasting, follow-up, and next steps.
- Partner directly with leadership to build sales messaging, collateral, sequences, processes, and playbooks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven success in a quota-carrying SaaS sales role.
- Experience operating successfully in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
- Strong full-cycle closing ability with the willingness to prospect and create opportunities personally.
- High energy, strong judgment, and the ability to build genuine relationships rather than rely on transactional selling.
- Comfortable selling across different customer profiles and adjusting quickly between SMB, mid-market, and larger organizations.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to confidently demonstrate a sophisticated software platform.
- Excellent follow-up and CRM discipline.
- Comfortable traveling for conferences and industry events.
- Legal technology, litigation, eDiscovery, or law firm experience is a strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships within large law firms can be particularly valuable.
Why This Opportunity:
- Join one of the first sales hires at a fast-growing AI company.
- Sell a product with meaningful existing inbound and referral demand.
- Work directly with company leadership.
- Help build the GTM playbook instead of simply inheriting one.
- Significant commission upside with uncapped earning potential.
- Fully remote U.S. role with travel for conferences and events.
