Dry Utility Engineering Manager

Dry Utility Engineering Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of engineering or related dry utility development experience, with at least 5 years managing complex projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil3D, or similar design software
- Experience with water/wastewater systems, pump stations, and distribution operations
- Licensed Professional Engineer preferred but not required
Dry Utility Engineering Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Strong knowledge of local electric, telecommunication, and gas utility service policies
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and lead diverse teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including client presentations
- Marketing, business development, and financial interpretation capabilities
Dry Utility Engineering Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate dry utility project teams in planning, design, and regulatory compliance
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery
- Develop utility plans, load letters, coordination exhibits, and technical documentation
- Liaise with utility companies, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to advance project milestones
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff, encouraging professional growth and technical competence
- Perform technical design reviews, cost estimating, and feasibility assessments
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders
