GENERAL MANAGER – CHEF-DRIVEN RESTAURANT
Savannah, GA | Salary $80K–$85K
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join one of Savannah’s top chef-driven restaurants. This is a well-established, highly regarded operation looking for a strong hospitality leader who enjoys being involved with the team, the guests, and the day-to-day operation.
This is a dinner-only restaurant and is closed every Sunday and Monday, giving the GM a consistent schedule and a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team
- Maintain high standards for service and guest experience
- Manage scheduling, labor, and daily operating costs
- Work closely with the Chef and culinary team to ensure a smooth operation
- Handle guest concerns and make sure issues are resolved professionally
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing employees
- Monitor sales, labor, and overall restaurant performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional restaurant
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience
- Experience in an upscale, chef-driven, or high-volume full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable managing both the people and business side of the operation
- Proven ability to train and develop a team
- Strong understanding of labor, scheduling, and restaurant financials
- Hospitality-focused and hands-on management style
- Stable work history preferred
Compensation
- $80K–$85K salary
