Architectural Designer – Austin, TX

Architectural Designer Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant design or drafting experience in hospitality, commercial, or retail settings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable interpreting hand sketches and seeking clarification
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
- Experience with procurement is required
- Must be based in Austin, TX with availability for periodic in-person meetings and site visits
Architectural Designer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create architectural drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and concept plans
- Develop floor plans, elevations, and detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD or Revit
- Coordinate updates, repairs, and additions for operating restaurant locations
- Support documentation and design phases for new projects
- Conduct site visits to gather field measurements and assess existing conditions
- Participate in project review meetings and collaborate with team members in person
- Maintain organized drawing sets and efficiently manage project files
- Work closely with the Director of Design and executive leadership to ensure project success
