IT Support Technician – Restaurant Technology
We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to support technology across a growing multi-unit quick-service restaurant organization. This role combines on-site restaurant support with remote troubleshooting and systems administration.
Restaurant experience is highly valued. You should understand why a POS or kitchen display going down during a lunch rush requires a very different response than a routine support ticket.

- Approximately 70% travel throughout NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE and surrounding markets
What You'll Do
- Provide remote and on-site IT support for restaurant and corporate teams.
- Troubleshoot POS, KDS, online ordering, payment systems, computers, printers and restaurant hardware.
- Diagnose network and connectivity issues, including IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewalls and failover.
- Support Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, onboarding and offboarding.
- Support POS menu configuration, pricing, modifiers, routing and 86ing across ordering channels.
- Troubleshoot integrations between ordering, payment and kitchen systems.
- Train restaurant teams and coordinate with outside vendors when necessary.
- Assist with new restaurant openings, technology installations, testing and system rollouts.
- Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3+ years of IT support, networking, POS support or related experience.
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting POS systems.
- Restaurant experience strongly preferred, especially QSR, fast-casual or multi-unit operations.
- Understanding of restaurant workflows from order entry through kitchen routing, payment and reporting.
- Working knowledge of networking, Microsoft 365 and remote support tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Comfortable working hands-on in restaurants and traveling between locations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide occasional after-hours/weekend support.
