Job Overview
A well-established construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for a major infrastructure project. This role oversees field personnel, subcontractors, scheduling, safety, quality, and project productivity while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise field labor and subordinate staff.
- Coordinate daily construction activities, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Work with Project Managers and Engineers to maintain schedules using P6, P3, or MS Project.
- Review work for compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor labor productivity, equipment costs, and project progress.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, and project representatives.
- Support project profitability, production goals, and cost control.
- Conduct pre-job meetings and reinforce safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite.
- Assist with project documentation, closeout, and final reporting.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity.
- Experience with heavy civil, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1, hazard identification, and safety compliance.
- Ability to interpret critical path schedules, construction drawings, and contract documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal, written, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain required site or government facility access.

Starting Salary: $140,000 annually (Exempt), plus comprehensive benefits.
