We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant in Martinsburg, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on restaurant leader who is passionate about developing people, delivering an outstanding guest experience, and driving strong operational results.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in full-service or casual dining and the ability to build, motivate, and retain a strong restaurant team.
What You'll Do
- Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop managers and hourly team members
- Create a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture
- Drive exceptional guest service and consistently high operational standards
- Manage restaurant P&L and overall financial performance
- Control labor, food costs, inventory, scheduling, and other operating expenses
- Maintain strong food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service standards
- Develop Assistant Managers and high-potential team members for future leadership opportunities
- Monitor restaurant performance and implement improvements when needed
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and proactively address recruiting and retention needs
What We're Looking For
- General Manager or strong senior restaurant-management experience
- Full-service or casual-dining restaurant background strongly preferred
- Experience leading both management and hourly teams
- Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, labor, food cost, inventory, and operational controls
- Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and retain strong teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and guest-service skills
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Stable employment history and demonstrated career progression
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for restaurant results
Compensation
Base Salary: $75,000–$85,000, depending on experience.
Strong monthly bonuses.
The target range is $75,000–$80,000, with consideration up to $85,000 for an exceptional candidate with strong, directly relevant restaurant leadership experience.
