CONTROLLER – Staten Island, New York
Are you a hands-on accounting leader looking for more than another Controller position? This is a rare opportunity to become an integral part of a well-established, multi-location organization with a strong reputation, an experienced leadership team, and an exciting future.
We are conducting a confidential search for a Controller who wants to build a long-term career and take ownership of a respected accounting function. This is a succession opportunity replacing a tenured Controller who will be available to provide training, transfer valuable institutional knowledge, and support a smooth transition.
The Controller will lead a small accounting team while working closely with sales, operations, human resources, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with sound business judgment, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive operational needs.
This is not a position for someone who wants to remain behind a desk or operate solely at a strategic level. We are looking for an approachable, responsive, roll-up-your-sleeves leader who enjoys being part of the business and wants to make a meaningful, long-term impact.
