Role Summary

The Marketing Program Owner is the connective hub for the company's growth strategy within marketing. This person drives the day to day path forward for how marketing shows up in the business pillar: serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and translating strategy, set by marketing leadership, into coordinated execution across the marketing function. Working closely with function specific teams (brand, content, digital, events, and communications) this role ensures that marketing initiatives move forward with discipline, urgency, and measurable impact.

This role has a voice in shaping the pillar's marketing strategy but does not own it. Strategic direction sits with the CMO and marketing VPs; the Marketing Program Owner brings frontline insight into those discussions and is accountable for turning agreed strategy into an executable, well governed roadmap.

This is a global role spanning the company's markets across 21+ countries, working with stakeholders and marketing colleagues in multiple regions and time zones. English is the primary working language across the company, so day to day collaboration, from stakeholder meetings to written reporting, happens in English regardless of location.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role suited to someone who can operate as both connector and orchestrator: comfortable contributing a point of view, equally comfortable running the weekly cadence that holds the broader team accountable for delivering against it.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Input: Bring a marketing point of view into strategy discussions led by the CMO and marketing VPs, and translate agreed strategy into a clear, executable roadmap for the marketing function.

• Main POC: Serve as the primary point of contact between marketing and business stakeholders, building trusted relationships with sales, business, and regional leaders.

• Stakeholder Cadence: Run recurring (typically weekly) working sessions with business stakeholders to review progress, surface issues early, and keep initiatives on track.

• Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with function specific marketing teams to translate strategy into executable plans, ensuring the right resources are engaged at the right time.

• Accountability: Hold marketing team members and other contributors accountable to deadlines, quality standards, and commitments, addressing gaps in execution directly and constructively.

• Opportunity Identification: Continuously scan for gaps, risks, and untapped opportunities across the marketing program and bring recommendations forward proactively.

• Performance Reporting: Define, track, and report on performance metrics that demonstrate the impact of marketing activity, presenting results clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

• Program Governance: Maintain a working rhythm of status updates, meeting notes, and action logs that keep every workstream visible and on schedule.

What Success Looks Like

• Business stakeholders view marketing as a proactive, reliable partner in growth, not a downstream service function.

• Weekly stakeholder meetings consistently drive decisions and unblock issues, rather than serving as status theater.

• Marketing initiatives tied to ship on time and are grounded in a clear, evolving long-term strategy.

• Performance metrics are tracked consistently and used to sharpen the strategy, not just to report on it after the fact.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5-8 years of experience in marketing, program or project management, or a related field; experience in B2B, distribution, technology, or infrastructure markets is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority over every contributor.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with comfort operating alongside sales and business leadership as well as marketing peers.

• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; able to run structured cadences (meetings, trackers, reporting) that keep complex programs on schedule.

• Experience with performance metrics and reporting, and the ability to translate data into a clear narrative for stakeholders.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to flex between strategic framing and tactical detail.

• Familiarity with data center, digital infrastructure, or related technology markets is preferred but not required.

• Comfort working across multiple countries and cultures, coordinating with colleagues and stakeholders in different regions and time zones; full professional fluency in English is required, as it is the primary working language across the company.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a purely administrative program management role; the Marketing Program Owner is expected to bring perspective and judgment, not simply track tasks assigned by others. Success in this role depends on consistent, hands-on collaboration with both business stakeholders and marketing colleagues, and on strong execution against a strategy this person helps inform and build.
