Project Manager – Manufacturing
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Project Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization. This position will manage projects from initial setup through final completion, coordinating with customers, internal production teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing and project management experience who enjoys owning projects, keeping multiple moving pieces organized, and providing exceptional customer service.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial setup through production, installation, inspection, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, documentation, and internal project records.
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing and internal teams to keep projects moving on schedule.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing consistent project updates and managing expectations.
- Coordinate permitting and required project documentation.
- Process and communicate orders to the manufacturing team.
- Schedule onsite work with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Source subcontractors and vendors, issue purchase orders, and monitor completion of work.
- Ensure project checklists, documentation, and completion photos are properly maintained.
- Coordinate final inspections and confirm projects meet customer requirements and permit specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry experience required.
- Previous project management or project coordination experience required.
- Sign manufacturing or signage industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple departments and outside partners.
- Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
