Head of Sales Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience
- 5+ years in a senior sales leadership position within B2B SaaS
- Demonstrated success scaling annual recurring revenue from approximately $10 million to $50 million or more
- Experience leading and developing sales organizations of 5 or more professionals
- Proven ownership of revenue targets, bookings, forecasting, and sales performance
- Experience building scalable sales processes, playbooks, methodologies, and operating cadences
- Strong understanding of mid-market and enterprise sales motions
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Ability to present forecasts, performance results, and strategic recommendations to executives and board members
- Bachelor’s degree required
Head of Sales Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience selling technology into restaurants, hotels, bars, or related hospitality markets
- MBA or equivalent executive leadership experience
- Track record of expanding into new markets, verticals, or geographic territories
- Experience leading Sales Directors, Account Executives, and Sales Development teams
- Expertise with CRM platforms and modern sales-engagement technology
- Strong knowledge of pipeline coverage, win rates, deal size, sales-cycle efficiency, and rep productivity
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strategic, analytical, and data-driven leadership approach
