In-Home Sales Consultant Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary of $50K–$55K during training period, transitioning to commission-based structure
- Successful consultants earn $80K–$100K within 12–18 months, with top performers reaching $200K+ by year 4–5
- Commission structure with monthly draw available after training period
- $600/month auto allowance or access to company fleet vehicle for work and personal use ($200/month)

In-Home Sales Consultant Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience (in-home sales preferred)
- 3+ years of outside sales experience strongly desired
- College degree preferred
- Comfortable with CRM software and general computer applications
- Ability to lift and carry samples up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and highly motivated
- Must pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
In-Home Sales Consultant Preferred Background & Skills
- CRM experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to generate and manage leads independently
- Adaptable, positive attitude, and professional under pressure
In-Home Sales Consultant Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to assess needs and deliver informative product presentations
- Prepare quotes, explain pricing, and address customer questions in person
- Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and outreach activities
- Accurately price jobs and coordinate orders to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, including post-sale service
- Contribute to showroom coverage as needed and participate in ongoing sales training
