Restaurant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience with General Manager-level leadership
- Proven success leading high-volume, full-service restaurant operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, labor, costs, and overall profitability
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Restaurant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in upscale casual, polished casual, chef-driven, or fine dining concepts
- Strong knowledge of elevated bar, wine, and beverage operations
- Hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality and building a strong restaurant culture
- Track record of driving sales, guest satisfaction, operational standards, and team development
