Assistant General Manager
Rapidly Growing Casual Restaurant Concept
Salary: $68,000–$72,000 + 8–10% Bonus
Are you an experienced restaurant leader looking to grow with a company that is expanding quickly? We are seeking a motivated and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to join a rapidly growing casual restaurant concept.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, creating an exceptional guest experience, and playing a key role in a high-energy restaurant environment. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to drive daily operations, team development, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure consistent execution of company standards.
- Lead from the floor, creating a welcoming and energetic environment for both guests and team members.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while building a strong culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
- Monitor service standards, food quality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant execution.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure a high level of hospitality.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily administrative responsibilities.
- Help drive sales, profitability, and operational performance.
- Serve as the leader on duty and take ownership of the restaurant in the General Manager's absence.
- Support the continued growth of the company by helping develop strong teams and future leaders.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and developing people.
- Ability to lead by example and thrive in a hands-on operating environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a busy restaurant.
- Positive, energetic approach with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- $68,000–$72,000 base salary
