Food and Beverage Operations Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage management experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database tools
- Beer, wine, and liquor knowledge
- Understanding of ABC regulations
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Food and Beverage Operations Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with point of sale systems and industry-specific operational knowledge
- ServeSafe Certification is a plus
Food and Beverage Operations Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across multiple food and beverage outlets
- Coach, train, and develop restaurant managers and their teams to meet service and financial objectives
- Oversee inventory control, labor management, budget tracking, and revenue growth
- Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
- Implement new products, standards, and processes that enhance guest experiences and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional resort teams to support high service standards and operational success
- Lead seasonal planning, staff development, and succession programs
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
