Bilingual HR Generalist – Multi-Unit Hospitality
Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong multi-unit hospitality or restaurant background? Join a growing restaurant organization as a Bilingual HR Generalist and make a direct impact on employee culture, engagement, and retention across multiple locations.
This is a hands-on hybrid role, working Monday-Wednesday onsite and Thursday-Friday remotely, with occasional travel to restaurant locations throughout the Los Angeles area.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers across multiple restaurant locations on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and investigations.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and management positions.
- Coordinate onboarding and new-hire orientation.
- Support California employment law compliance, leave administration, workers' compensation, accommodations, and company policies.
- Maintain HRIS and employee records.
- Support employee engagement, retention, training, and development initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees.
- Visit restaurant locations regularly to build relationships and support operations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR experience in a multi-unit hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or food service environment — REQUIRED.
- Multi-unit hospitality HR experience is highly valued.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and leadership coaching skills.
- Working knowledge of California employment laws.
- Comfortable supporting multiple locations in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
- HRIS and Microsoft Office experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
What We Offer
- $72,000-$78,000, depending on experience
