A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a skilled production supervisor to lead 2nd shift operations at its Chicago-area facility. 2nd Shift Production Supervisor Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually
- 2nd shift schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM

2nd Shift Production Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of production or manufacturing experience; steel manufacturing experience highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven commitment to safety and operational standards
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
- Intermediate computer proficiency; ERP experience is a plus
2nd Shift Production Supervisor Preferred Background & Skills
- Hands-on experience with roll forming, steel punching, welding, paint lines, packing lines, and both automated and manual packaging systems
- Experience supporting quality inspections and continuous improvement programs
2nd Shift Production Supervisor Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to meet daily performance goals
- Coordinate operations across packing lines, paint lines, rivet stations, hydraulic presses, and robotic welding cells
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, quality standards, and production procedures
- Communicate priorities, expectations, and performance feedback clearly to team members
- Monitor production activities and maintain accurate operational records
- Support quality inspection processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on efficiency and accountability
