A well-established, growing restaurant group is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, upscale full-service restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who excels at building strong teams, driving financial performance, and creating an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate has current leadership experience in upscale, polished casual, or fine dining and is comfortable operating in a structured, high-volume environment with a scratch kitchen and strong beverage program.
General Manager Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations and guest experience
- Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing management and hourly team
- Manage P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, labor, inventory, and controllable costs
- Drive sales and profitability while maintaining high service standards
- Partner closely with culinary leadership on food quality and execution
- Oversee scheduling, training, performance management, and operational standards
- Develop managers and build a strong internal leadership pipeline
- Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and restaurant appearance
- Build guest relationships and maintain a visible leadership presence in the restaurant
General Manager Qualifications
- 3+ years of General Manager experience with progressive leadership responsibility
- Current or recent General Manager experience strongly preferred
- High-volume upscale, polished casual, or fine-dining experience required
- Strong P&L, labor, cost-control, and operational management skills
- Proven success developing managers and restaurant teams
- Experience with scratch kitchens and elevated beverage programs preferred
- Food Manager Certification required
- Bachelor’s degree or hospitality-related certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
