Home Care Operations Leader Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of administrative, intake, or supervisory experience within a California Home Care Organization or Skilled Home Health Agency
- Deep familiarity with California Medi-Cal compliance, HCBS waiver structures, and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) workflows
- Active, verifiable status on the California Home Care Aide Registry with a clean Live Scan clearance (or ability to transfer)
- Current negative TB clearance
- Valid CA driver’s license and reliable, insured personal vehicle
Home Care Operations Leader Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous experience building B2B referral partnerships with hospitals, rehab centers, or Medi-Cal waiver programs
- Proficiency with EVV platforms such as Sandata or HHAeXchange
- Strong community relationship-building ability
Home Care Operations Leader Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, staff scheduling, and compliance with California CDSS regulations
- Lead weekly hiring pipeline and auditing processes to ensure top caregiver talent and regulatory adherence
- Build and nurture referral pipelines by marketing agency services to hospitals, rehab centers, and Medi-Cal waiver case managers
- Step into the field to support emergency shifts and deliver direct care as needed
- Maintain close operational collaboration with affiliated home health operations in Los Angeles
