Bagel Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience
- Strong understanding of COGS, labor, inventory, sales, and restaurant profitability
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial results and drive operational improvements
- Excellent organizational leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Restaurant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in bakery, bagel, café, or fast-casual concepts
Restaurant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, setting the pace, energy, and culture for your team
- Monitor and manage all production, service, cleanliness, people, and financial outcomes
- Directly coach, train, and develop team members and build a strong internal leadership pipeline
- Ensure exceptional bagel quality and maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
- Own and report on P&L, controlling cost of goods, labor, inventory, and waste
- Deliver remarkable hospitality, engaging guests and representing the company in the local community
- Support and execute catering, local marketing, and neighborhood outreach initiatives
