General Manager – Cafe Concept
A growing hospitality and retail concept is seeking a dedicated general manager to lead daily operations and elevate both guest experiences and financial performance. General Manager Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary: $75,000–$80,000

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, food retail, or similar customer-focused settings
- Proven ability in hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and developing teams
- Strong financial skills in budgeting, cost control, sales analysis, and profitability
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, inventory management, and POS systems
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on leadership style committed to working alongside team members and engaging with guests
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience balancing strategic business goals with day-to-day operational details
- Background in launching seasonal promotions or new products
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Manage scheduling, labor, and budgets to meet business needs
- Foster a positive, accountable culture focused on hospitality and teamwork
- Oversee daily operations, facility cleanliness, maintenance, inventory, and organization
- Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams on promotions and initiatives
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify opportunities for revenue growth
- Supervise cash handling, POS operations, invoices, and financial reporting
- Partner with leadership on annual budgets, sales targets, and operational strategies
