Seeking a Regulatory Associate to join a sophisticated health care practice. This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-impact regulatory disputes and litigation while developing deep expertise in health care law.
Responsibilities:
- Handle complex health care regulatory litigation and administrative disputes
- Challenge agency actions, including matters arising under the Administrative Procedure Act
- Manage Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement disputes and administrative appeals
- Assist with government audits and investigations
- Support False Claims Act defense and other fraud and abuse matters
- Draft substantive briefs, motions, appeals, and other legal filings
- Participate in administrative, trial, and appellate proceedings
- Advise hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, and other health care providers
- Work on significant regulatory and reimbursement matters with potential nationwide impact
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 2–4 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong litigation, research, analytical, and legal writing skills
- Excellent academic credentials and meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated interest in health care law, regulation, and policy
- Interest in sophisticated administrative and appellate litigation
- Experience with or interest in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, APA litigation, government investigations, False Claims Act defense, or health care regulatory disputes
- Appropriate bar admission for the applicable office/location
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $220,000–$300,000, based on experience and qualifications
