This is an exciting regional leadership opportunity with a well-established senior living organization committed to enriching the lives of residents across multiple communities. Lead strategic sales and marketing efforts on the road, directly impacting the growth and reputation of seven senior living communities throughout Central Illinois and Indiana.
This is a field-based, highly mobile regional role requiring frequent travel between communities. Candidates applying from outside the territory, including Cincinnati and Indianapolis, must be willing to relocate to the Central Illinois/Indiana region. A company vehicle is provided for regional travel.
Director of Sales and Marketing Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary (~$115K) plus a performance-driven quarterly bonus structure
- Quarterly bonuses for both occupancy growth in underperforming communities ($1,500–$5,000 per quarter) and sustained high regional occupancy ($2,500–$4,000 per quarter)

Director of Sales and Marketing Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred
- Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within senior living, assisted living, memory care, healthcare, or a related sector
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving occupancy growth across multiple sites
- Must reside within or relocate to the Central Illinois/Indiana territory
- Candidates currently located outside the territory must be willing and able to relocate to support frequent onsite travel between assigned communities
- Comfortable spending significant time on the road, traveling regularly between communities throughout the region
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and community engagement
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Director of Sales and Marketing Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience leading sales and marketing efforts for multiple senior living or healthcare communities
- Ability to motivate dispersed teams and drive change in underperforming locations
- Strong background in occupancy growth, lead conversion, referral development, and community outreach
- Comfortable operating in rural and small-market territories
- A road-warrior mindset and ability to independently manage a multi-site territory
Director of Sales and Marketing Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Travel regularly across seven senior living communities in Central Illinois and Indiana, leading onsite sales and marketing activities
- Strategize and execute plans to increase occupancy and revenue, especially within underperforming communities
- Mentor and coach local sales teams to maximize lead conversion and strengthen relationships with prospective residents and families
- Analyze regional trends and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies
- Oversee and support integrated marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, and community events
- Build referral partnerships and represent the communities at regional events
- Maintain a strong onsite presence across the territory while independently managing travel and regional priorities
