What You’ll Be Doing
- Recruit CDL drivers, dock workers, and support employees
- Source candidates through job boards, recruiting databases, and outbound calls
- Make approximately 30–50 outbound calls and handle 15–20 inbound calls each day
- Conduct phone interviews and candidate screenings
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Coordinate with hiring managers regarding staffing needs
- Track candidates and recruiting activity in an ATS/HR system
- Keep accurate records and ensure candidates continue moving through the process
- Work toward measurable recruiting and hiring goals
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with the people skills and work ethic—not necessarily recruiting experience.
- Restaurant, hospitality, hotel, customer service, sales, or management experience is highly transferable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Comfortable working toward goals and performance metrics
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Positive attitude and professional communication style
- Competitive and motivated by achievement
A college degree is preferred, but relevant hospitality, restaurant, customer service, or sales experience will be considered.
