What You’ll Be Doing
As a Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible for helping identify and hire CDL drivers, dock workers, and other support employees.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting CDL drivers, dock workers, and support employees
- Contacting potential candidates by phone
- Making approximately 30–50 outbound calls and handling 15–20 inbound calls per day
- Conducting phone interviews and candidate screenings
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Following up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Coordinating with hiring managers regarding staffing needs
- Tracking candidates and recruiting activity in company systems
- Maintaining accurate records and candidate information
- Ensuring candidates continue moving through the hiring process
- Working toward measurable recruiting and hiring goals
