Restaurant General Manager Duties
- Lead all front- and back-of-house operations with a hands-on management style
- Inspire, coach, and develop a service-focused team committed to excellence
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest hospitality standards
- Drive financial performance through labor management, cost controls, and revenue growth initiatives
- Analyze P&L statements and key business metrics to maximize profitability
- Maintain impeccable standards for food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction
- Partner closely with ownership on strategic initiatives, culture development, and long-term growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful leadership experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader in upscale dining, fine dining, or chef-driven concepts
- Proven track record managing high-volume restaurant operations
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, labor controls, and cost containment
- Passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Professional presence with the ability to lead by example on the floor every day
