Senior Superintendent – Luxury Custom Homes
$150,000–$200,000 Total Compensation | High-End Residential Construction
For Builders Who Still Love to Build.
Some construction professionals want to move further away from the field as their careers progress.
This opportunity is for someone who wants to stay close to the build.
We're representing a highly respected custom home builder seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to take the lead on sophisticated, one-of-a-kind luxury residences.
These are not production homes. They are complex, detail-intensive projects where craftsmanship matters, the clients have high expectations, and the Superintendent plays a critical role in bringing the entire project together.
You'll be trusted to run your projects, make decisions, solve problems, lead the trades, and deliver a finished home you're proud to put your name behind.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day construction of luxury custom homes from the earliest stages of the build through final homeowner delivery.
That includes:
- Managing the project in the field from site work and foundation through framing, mechanicals, finishes, punch, and completion
- Developing and driving construction schedules
- Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
- Maintaining demanding standards for quality, craftsmanship, safety, and job-site organization
- Reviewing plans and specifications and identifying potential issues before they become field problems
- Managing sequencing across multiple trades and keeping the project moving
- Holding subcontractors accountable for schedule and quality
- Working closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project leadership
- Communicating professionally with homeowners throughout the construction process
- Walking the project continuously and making sure the details are right — not just checking boxes on a schedule
The Experience We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has spent enough time in residential construction to understand how a high-end home actually comes together.
You don't necessarily need to have held the title "Senior Superintendent."
You may be a Superintendent ready for a larger opportunity, or you may already be a Senior Superintendent, Builder, Construction Manager, or Project Manager who prefers being close to the field and owning the construction process.
What matters is that you bring:
- Strong experience with custom, luxury, high-end, or estate residential construction
- Ground-up knowledge of residential building systems
- A strong understanding of foundations, framing, waterproofing, building envelope, MEP systems, and high-end finishes
- The ability to read plans and translate them into what needs to happen in the field
- Experience managing skilled subcontractors and demanding construction schedules
- A sharp eye for quality and detail
- Confidence communicating with sophisticated homeowners and design professionals
- The ability to anticipate problems instead of simply reacting to them
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes personal ownership of the finished product.
Why This One Is Worth Considering
This is an established, family-owned builder with a strong reputation for doing exceptional work.
The company isn't trying to build as many houses as possible.
They focus on a select number of high-quality custom residences, giving their construction team the ability to concentrate on the details, craftsmanship, and client experience that separate a truly exceptional home from an average one.
For the right Superintendent, that means:
- $150,000–$200,000 total compensation, depending on experience
- High-end projects that will challenge your construction knowledge
- Significant autonomy in the field
- Direct access to company leadership
- Strong relationships with quality trade partners
- An organization that values craftsmanship over volume
- Stability and the opportunity to build a long-term career rather than continually chasing the next project
Location
The search is being conducted through the Atlanta market, but the projects are located in a highly desirable community outside practical daily commuting distance from Atlanta.
Candidates should be willing to relocate to the area.
For someone open to making the move, it offers a unique combination: exceptional projects, strong compensation, and the opportunity to live and work in one of the region's most desirable communities.
If you're an experienced residential Superintendent who knows how to take a custom home from dirt to keys — or you're ready to step into a larger role where you'll have the autonomy to do exactly that — we'd like to hear from you.
All conversations and inquiries will be handled confidentially.
