We are currently searching for an Assistant Director of Finance for a Luxury Resort in Southern Utah. This popular and desirable destination resort is growing quickly and needs a strong ADOF to oversee accounting and assist with financial modeling, projections, and relationships. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Accounting or Finance in Luxury Resorts who may me in an Assistant Director of Finance or Controller position in a large property, or as a Director of Finance in a smaller property. Luxury Resort Assistant Director of Finance Qualifications:
- 3+ years as an Assistant Director of Finance or Controller for a large, multi-faceted resort, or Director of Finance for a smaller resort with multiple revenue streams
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Accounting and Finance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Strong knowledge of USALI and GAAP
- Strong experience with multiple accounting systems and platforms- a quick learner on new systems
- Experience working and reporting directly with Ownership and Asset managers
Luxury Resort Assistant Director of Finance Preferred Backgrounds:
- CPA certification highly preferred
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, or business highly preferred
- Positive career trajectory and growth aspirations
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and understanding of current trends
Luxury Resort Assistant Director of Finance Responsiblities:
- Assist the Area Director of Finance in all operations
- Lead accounting team with integrity, compassion, and consistency aligned with our values
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting
- Create financial modeling for prospective investments, improvements, capital planning, and other initivies
- Assist in annual budget creation, forecasting, and collaborate on revenue management
- Mentor and collaborate with department directors on financial management and budget cohesion
- Monitor and manage cash flow with short term and long term projections and modeling
- Participate in Executive Leadership with insight, advise, and operational guideance
- Other duties as assigned
