We are seeking a hands-on, relationship-driven Procurement Specialist to help restaurant and hospitality customers improve purchasing performance, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships.
This role combines procurement expertise, strategic sourcing, analytics, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate understands foodservice purchasing and can not only identify savings opportunities, but also communicate recommendations effectively and influence customers to put those recommendations into action.
Procurement Specialist Benefits/Compensation:
- Base salary of $90K–$110K
- 20% variable compensation based on revenue growth

Procurement Specialist Requirements/Responsibilities:
- 5–10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain
- Restaurant, foodservice, hospitality, or food & beverage procurement experience strongly preferred
- Analyze customer purchasing and spend data to identify cost savings and purchasing opportunities
- Source products and recommend alternative products, suppliers, or distributors when appropriate
- Negotiate vendor pricing, terms, contracts, and purchasing programs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and restaurant customers
- Help customers evaluate recommendations and successfully implement purchasing changes
- Manage multiple customer relationships while providing a consultative, high-touch experience
- Resolve supplier, pricing, availability, and product-quality issues
- Identify opportunities to expand the vendor network and develop additional rebate or purchasing programs
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and other internal teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing, pricing, and spend data
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Experience:
- Multi-unit restaurant procurement
- Foodservice distributors, GPOs, or procurement-as-a-service organizations
- Food, beverage, ingredient, or restaurant supply categories
- Vendor rebate programs
- Restaurant technology or SaaS
- Existing relationships within the foodservice supplier/distributor community
